Job Description

Process shipments sent by the DGF ocean import/export operations. Dispatch orders to truckers. Provide service on the shipments moving with ICC. Build core partners with motor carriers in each market. Ensure DGF is receiving the best rate from our motor carriers. Always search for opportunities for equipment optimization. Communicate with motor carriers to ensure time stamps are updated. Monitor service and quality. Provide spot quotes to the U.S. DGF ocean team.

Job Qualifications

  • 2+ years FCL dispatch experience

  • Working knowledge of chassis

  • Familiarity with trucking rates

  • Drayage experience preferred

  • Strong geographical knowledge of US Port and Rail Terminal Operations strongly preferred
