  1. Oversee the maintenance and repair of all retail equipment to ensure it is functioning properly and meets company standards.
  2. Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with equipment, implementing solutions to resolve problems.
  3. Lead a team of equipment services technicians, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure efficient and effective operations.
  4. Communicate with store managers and other departments to coordinate equipment repairs and maintenance schedules.
  5. Maintain accurate records of equipment maintenance, repairs, and inventory.
  6. Monitor and analyze equipment performance data to identify areas for improvement and implement preventative maintenance measures.
  7. Collaborate with vendors and suppliers to source necessary equipment parts and tools.
  8. Ensure compliance with safety protocols and regulations to maintain a safe work environment for employees and customers.
  9. Develop and implement training programs for employees on proper equipment usage and maintenance.
  10. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in equipment technology to make informed decisions about equipment upgrades and replacements.
  11. Collaborate with other departments, such as merchandising and operations, to ensure equipment meets the needs of the business and supports a positive customer experience.
  12. Conduct regular inspections and audits of equipment to identify potential issues and ensure proper functioning.
  13. Manage equipment service budget and identify cost-saving opportunities.
  14. Handle customer inquiries and complaints related to equipment issues in a professional and timely manner.

  • Knowledge Of Retail Equipment: The Ideal Candidate For This Role Should Have A Strong Understanding Of The Various Equipment Used In A Retail Setting, Such As Cash Registers, Scanners, And Inventory Management Systems.

  • Leadership Experience: The Retail Equipment Services Lead Will Be Responsible For Managing A Team Of Technicians, So Previous Experience In A Leadership Or Supervisory Role Is Necessary.

  • Technical Aptitude: This Position Requires A Strong Technical Background And The Ability To Troubleshoot And Repair Various Retail Equipment. Candidates Should Possess A Degree Or Certification In A Related Field Or Have Equivalent Work Experience.

  • Organizational Skills: The Retail Equipment Services Lead Will Be Responsible For Scheduling And Coordinating Repairs And Maintenance For All Equipment Within The Store. Strong Organizational Skills Are Essential To Ensure That All Tasks Are Completed Efficiently And On Time.
