Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Audit Coordinator to join our team and help us fulfill this mission.The Audit Coordinator will be responsible for managing and coordinating the internal audit program for Dignity Health. This includes planning and organizing audits, preparing reports, and developing audit strategies. The ideal candidate must have excellent organizational and communication skills, as well as the ability to provide accurate financial and operational analyses. The Audit Coordinator must have a strong attention to detail and be able to work collaboratively with management and staff to ensure accuracy and timeliness of all audit functions.The successful candidate must have a bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance, with at least three years of experience in a similar role. They must also have a working knowledge of auditing standards and practices, as well as a working knowledge of accounting systems and software. The ideal candidate must also have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, and the ability to identify and address issues quickly and effectively.We are looking for someone who is passionate about delivering quality healthcare services and is dedicated to achieving the highest standards of excellence. Responsibilities of the Audit Coordinator:

  1. Manage and coordinate the internal audit program for Dignity Health, including planning and organizing audits, preparing reports, and developing audit strategies.
  2. Provide accurate financial and operational analyses to ensure accuracy and timeliness of all audit functions.
  3. Develop audit strategies to ensure compliance with applicable standards and regulations.
  4. Maintain an organized audit process and ensure timely completion of all audit tasks.
  5. Analyze and interpret financial statements, financial reports, and other financial documents to identify discrepancies and errors.
  6. Prepare detailed reports and findings to management and stakeholders.
  7. Identify areas for improvement in audit processes and recommend necessary changes.
  8. Monitor audit processes and ensure adherence to established policies and procedures.
  9. Keep abreast of industry developments and changes in applicable laws and regulations.
  10. Assist with the development of audit training materials and programs.
