
Nursing Assistant
Dignity Health is seeking a compassionate, dedicated Nursing Assistant to provide quality patient care in our healthcare setting. Required Qualifications:• High school diploma or equivalent• Current CPR certification• Previous experience as a Nursing Assistant or in a healthcare setting preferred• Basic understanding of medical terminology• Ability to demonstrate empathy and respect for patients• Commitment to excellence and a desire to join a dynamic and diverse team
Responsibilities:
- Assist nurses and other healthcare professionals with patient care, including taking vital signs, collecting specimens, and providing bedside care.
- Ensure that all patient records are accurate and up to date.
- Assist with patient transfers and use of equipment.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
- Follow established hospital policies and procedures.
- Provide patient education and support.
- Communicate effectively with patients, family members, and other members of the healthcare team.
- Monitor patient progress and document information accurately.
- Respond to patient calls and inquiries in a timely manner.
- Assist with the administration of medications and treatments.
