
Senior Stock Plan Administrator
Discord is seeking a highly experienced and detail-oriented Senior Stock Plan Administrator to join our growing team. As a key member of our Finance department, you will have the opportunity to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, supporting the company's global equity programs. - Develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of the company's stock plans, including stock option plans, employee stock purchase plans, and restricted stock units.
- Oversee the administration of the company's global equity programs, including participant education, enrollment, and vesting schedules.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements, including SEC, IRS, and FASB regulations, as well as company policies.
- Partner with cross-functional teams, including Legal, HR, and Accounting, to ensure accurate and timely reporting and recordkeeping of equity transactions.
- Manage equity data and maintain accurate records in the company's equity management system.
- Communicate with employees and external vendors regarding stock plan inquiries and provide support for equity-related transactions.
- Stay current with industry trends and best practices related to equity compensation and make recommendations for process improvements.
- Prepare and distribute periodic reports to senior management and the Board of Directors on the status of the company's equity programs.
- Ensure timely and accurate tax withholding and reporting for equity transactions.
- Collaborate with external auditors to provide necessary information for audits and reviews of the company's equity programs.
- Train and mentor junior team members on stock plan administration best practices and procedures.
- Maintain confidentiality and discretion when working with sensitive employee and company information.
- Continuously evaluate and improve stock plan administration processes to increase efficiency and accuracy.
- Act as a subject matter expert on equity compensation matters and provide guidance to internal stakeholders as needed.
- Participate in special projects and initiatives related to equity compensation and other areas of the Finance department as assigned.
Bachelor's Degree In Business Administration, Human Resources, Finance, Or Related Field.
Minimum Of 5 Years Experience In Stock Plan Administration And Equity Compensation.
Extensive Knowledge Of Stock Plan Administration, Including Equity Plan Design, Stock Option Grants, Rsus, Espps, And Tax Implications.
Experience With Equity Management Software, Such As Shareworks, Carta, Or E*Trade.
Strong Attention To Detail And Ability To Manage Complex Data And Processes Accurately And Efficiently.
