We’re looking for a Teen Safety Expert to join Discord and help us ensure our platform is a safe and supportive space for all users. We’re looking for someone who is passionate about teen safety and has a deep understanding of the issues facing teens online. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of creating and implementing successful safety initiatives and have a genuine interest in working with and advocating for teens. If you’re eager to help us make teens’ online experiences more positive and secure, we want to hear from you!
Responsibilities:
- Monitor Discord for any content that could be deemed unsafe for teens and take appropriate action
- Create and implement strategies to ensure teen safety on the platform
- Develop resources to educate teens on online safety and responsible online behavior
- Cultivate relationships with teens and organizations that support teen safety
- Stay up to date on the latest trends and developments in teen safety and online security
- Advocate for teens and their safety online
- Develop and implement initiatives to promote a positive online experience for teens
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure teen safety is integrated into all aspects of Discord
- Monitor and assess the effectiveness of safety initiatives and make necessary changes to ensure success
