Corporate Governance Consultant/Paralegal

Additionally, they will provide assistance with corporate secretarial activities, such as the preparation and filing of corporate documents, coordinating board and shareholder meetings, and ensuring compliance with the company's corporate governance policies and procedures.To be considered for this role, applicants must possess at least a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or Law and have at least three years of legal and/or corporate governance experience. They must also have excellent communication skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work independently. Additionally, the ideal candidate will have knowledge of corporate governance laws, regulations, and best practices, as well as experience with corporate secretarial activities.

Responsibilities:

1. Develop and maintain corporate governance policies and procedures.
2. Prepare and file corporate documents.
3. Coordinate board and shareholder meetings.
4. Monitor and ensure compliance with corporate governance laws, regulations, and best practices.
5. Provide consulting and legal advice to internal and external stakeholders.
6. Research and analyze legal and regulatory issues related to corporate governance.
7. Assist with corporate secretarial activities.
8. Identify potential corporate governance risks and develop strategies to mitigate them.
9. Provide administrative support to the Corporate Governance team.
10. Maintain accurate records and filing systems of corporate documents.
