- Monitor database performance and troubleshoot any issues that arise, ensuring system reliability and availability.
- Conduct regular backups and disaster recovery procedures to ensure data integrity.
- Continuously assess and improve database security protocols to protect sensitive information.
- Implement and maintain database upgrades, patches, and configurations.
- Develop and maintain documentation for database processes and procedures.
- Identify and recommend opportunities for database optimization and automation.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in database administration.
- Proactively identify potential risks and implement solutions to mitigate them.
- Train and mentor junior team members on database administration best practices.
- Provide 24/7 support for critical database issues as needed.
- Collaborate with external vendors to resolve database-related issues.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders to provide updates on database performance and any potential risks.
- Continuously evaluate and implement new technologies to improve database infrastructure and processes.
Bachelor's Degree In Computer Science, Information Technology, Or A Related Field.
At Least 5 Years Of Experience Working As An Oracle Dba In A Large Enterprise Environment.
Extensive Knowledge Of Oracle Database Administration, Including Installation, Configuration, Backup And Recovery, Performance Tuning, And Security.
Experience With Oracle Rac And Data Guard.
Strong Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills, With The Ability To Troubleshoot Complex Database Issues And Provide Effective Solutions.
