Lead Financial Crimes Investigator

Reporting to the Head of Fraud Prevention, the Lead Investigator will be responsible for leading a team of fraud specialists in the investigation of financial crimes, identifying fraud trends, and monitoring account activity for suspicious transactions.The ideal candidate for this position will possess a minimum of 5 years of experience in financial crime investigations, a strong understanding of financial services regulations, and excellent communication and problem-solving skills. A background in law enforcement or intelligence analysis is also preferred.The Lead Investigator will play a critical role in protecting our customers from financial fraud and ensuring the security of our systems. Responsibilities:

1. Lead and manage a team of fraud investigators in the investigation of financial crimes.
2. Identify fraud trends and monitor account activity for suspicious transactions.
3. Maintain a high level of knowledge on financial services regulations.
4. Develop and implement strategies for fraud prevention.
5. Develop and maintain relationships with law enforcement and intelligence agencies.
6. Provide reports on fraud prevention efforts to the Head of Fraud Prevention.
7. Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
8. Proactively identify potential fraud risks and create plans to mitigate them.
9. Investigate complex fraud cases and provide necessary documentation to law enforcement.
10. Provide training and guidance to fraud investigators on the team.
