
NAM Import/Export Analyst
Accurately classifying goods according to the Canadian and U.S. Tariff Schedules. Audit Canadian and US import entries to ensure compliance. Assess products for FTA eligibility for Canadian and U.S finished goods. Investigate information requests from brokers or government agencies on imported goods or detention issues. Process Canadian export orders and coordinate shipments. Ensure correct valuation on imported products. Submit post entry corrections to CBSA and CBP as required. Create and assist in preparing customs documentation for imports and exports. Provide import landed cost analysis as required. Ensure accurate record keeping for imports, exports and FTA requirements. Identification of proper INCOTERMS. Provide backup role to other Canadian Import/Export Specialist.
3+ years’ experience with Tariff Classification
Canadian and/or U.S. import or export laws and regulations and Free Trade Agreements is preferred
Ability to multi task, prioritize and work under pressure with strong organizational skills.
