Pricing Specialist

Develop commercial freight rates based on market conditions, P&L analysis, and Dole’s logistics requirements. The freight rates correspond to 4 trade lanes: the US and Canada to/from Central and South America. Monitor and research rate usage and eliminate obsolete rates from tariffs based on customer information in collaboration with agents. Maintain publication and FMC compliance rates and rules for FMC Tariff DOLQ-128 and DOLQ-131: submit information to tariff publishing company and verify accuracy of publication. FMC Inland Transportation: Tariff DOLQ-130 maintain published transportation rates in the US and Central and South America. Implement tariff GRI’s (General Rate increases) and ensure compliance and execution of the business core. Provide 30 day notification of tariff changes to sales teams/clients. Maintain and distribute to customers and agents: Common commodity spreadsheet (Marine Chartering). Maintain customer and FCL volume database for imports and exports.
