  4. Ensure adherence to company policies and procedures, including inventory and cash management.

  8. Stay up-to-date with product knowledge and promotions to effectively assist customers and drive sales.
  9. Collaborate with store management to develop and implement marketing strategies to attract and retain customers.
  10. Handle customer complaints and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner.
  11. Monitor and maintain inventory levels to meet customer demands.
  12. Perform opening and closing duties as required.

Job Qualifications

  • Previous Retail Experience: A Lead Sales Associate At Dollar General Should Have At Least 2-3 Years Of Experience In A Similar Role, Preferably In A Retail Environment.

  • Strong Leadership Skills: As A Lead Sales Associate, One Must Be Able To Effectively Lead And Manage A Team Of Sales Associates. This Requires Strong Leadership Skills, Including The Ability To Delegate Tasks, Provide Guidance, And Motivate Team Members.

  • Knowledge Of Store Operations: A Lead Sales Associate Should Have A Good Understanding Of Dollar General's Store Operations, Including Inventory Management, Cashiering, And Merchandising. This Knowledge Is Essential For Maintaining The Store's Efficiency And Profitability.

  • Ability To Multitask And Work In A Fast-Paced Environment: Dollar General Stores Can Get Busy, And A Lead Sales Associate Should Be Able To Handle Multiple Tasks At Once While Maintaining A High Level Of Accuracy And Attention To Detail.
