As the Regional Asset Protection Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the implementation of asset protection strategies and programs in your assigned region.   1. Develop and implement asset protection strategies and programs to protect store assets, reduce shrinkage, and ensure a safe shopping environment for customers and employees.
  2. Monitor and analyze store performance and security measures to identify potential risks and areas for improvement.
  3. Conduct regular store visits and audits to assess compliance with company policies and procedures related to asset protection.
  4. Train and educate store managers and employees on asset protection best practices and procedures.
  5. Investigate and resolve incidents of theft, fraud, and other security-related issues in a timely and efficient manner.
  6. Collaborate with law enforcement agencies and legal teams to handle external theft and fraud cases.
  7. Monitor and manage the budget for asset protection initiatives, ensuring cost-effective solutions are implemented.
  8. Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and external partners to enhance store security and prevent shrinkage.
  9. Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in asset protection technology, and make recommendations for their implementation.
  10. Provide regular reports to upper management on the status of asset protection measures and any notable incidents or trends.
  11. Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations related to asset protection and safety.
  12. Lead and motivate a team of asset protection associates, providing guidance and support to help them achieve their goals.
  13. Act as a liaison between stores, corporate, and external stakeholders to communicate and implement asset protection initiatives.
  14. Uphold and promote Dollar General's values and culture, fostering a positive and inclusive work environment.
  15. Travel within the assigned region to support and oversee asset protection efforts at all stores.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Criminal Justice, Business Administration, Or Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 5 Years Experience In Asset Protection, Loss Prevention, Or Security Management.

  • Strong Knowledge Of Retail Operations And Inventory Management.

  • Proven Track Record Of Successfully Reducing Shrink And Theft In A Multi-Store Environment.

  • Excellent Communication And Leadership Skills, With The Ability To Train And Develop A Team Of Asset Protection Professionals.
