  1. Develop and implement strategies for the health and beauty product assortment to align with company goals and meet customer needs.
  2. Oversee the selection, sourcing, and pricing of health and beauty products to ensure they are of high quality and offered at affordable prices.
  3. Stay updated on industry trends and consumer preferences to inform product assortment decisions.
  4. Manage a team of buyers and merchandisers to ensure efficient and effective execution of product assortment plans.
  5. Analyze sales data and market trends to identify opportunities for growth and improvement in the health and beauty category.
  6. Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as marketing, supply chain, and finance to develop and execute effective promotional and pricing strategies.
  7. Conduct regular store visits and gather feedback from customers to gain insights on product performance and identify areas for improvement.
  8. Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors and negotiate favorable terms and pricing to maximize profitability.
  9. Monitor inventory levels and make recommendations for stock adjustments to avoid overstocking or stockouts.
  10. Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as industry regulations, in all aspects of product assortment and management.
  11. Train and develop team members to enhance their skills and knowledge in product assortment and management.
  12. Communicate effectively with senior management and provide regular updates on product assortment performance and strategies.
  13. Identify and resolve any issues or challenges that may arise in the health and beauty category, taking a proactive and solution-oriented approach.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Business Administration, Marketing, Or A Related Field

  • Minimum Of 7-10 Years Of Experience In Retail Merchandising, Specifically In The Health And Beauty Category

  • Strong Leadership Skills, With Experience Managing A Team And Driving Results

  • In-Depth Knowledge Of Industry Trends, Vendors, And Product Assortment Strategies In The Health And Beauty Category

  • Excellent Analytical And Strategic Thinking Abilities, With A Track Record Of Developing And Executing Successful Merchandising Plans To Meet Sales And Profit Goals.
