We are currently seeking a compassionate and experienced Clinical Mental Health Counselor to join our dedicated and dynamic team. - Conduct individual and group counseling sessions with students to address a wide range of mental health concerns, such as anxiety, depression, and relationship issues.
- Assess students' needs and develop appropriate treatment plans.
- Provide crisis intervention and collaborate with other team members to ensure students receive timely and effective care.
- Maintain accurate and confidential client records in compliance with ethical and legal standards.
- Stay up-to-date with current research and best practices in counseling and psychology to inform treatment approaches.
- Participate in regular supervision and consult with colleagues to enhance clinical skills and ensure quality of care.
- Foster a welcoming and inclusive environment for all students seeking counseling services.
- Collaborate with campus partners, such as faculty and staff, to promote mental health awareness and provide support to students.
- Participate in outreach and educational initiatives to increase awareness of counseling services and mental health resources available on campus.
- Adhere to professional and ethical standards as outlined by relevant licensing bodies.
- Support and uphold the mission and values of Duke University and Counseling and Psychological Services.
- Maintain a positive and collaborative working relationship with team members.
- Engage in ongoing professional development and seek opportunities for growth and advancement within the department.

- Handle administrative tasks, such as scheduling appointments and maintaining caseload, in a timely and organized manner.
Master's Degree In Counseling Or Related Field From An Accredited University.
Licensed Or Eligible For Licensure As A Professional Counselor In The State Of North Carolina.
Minimum Of 2 Years Of Clinical Experience In A Mental Health Setting.
Demonstrated Knowledge And Understanding Of Evidence-Based Therapeutic Techniques And Interventions.
Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Develop And Maintain Therapeutic Relationships With Diverse Populations.
