  1. Oversee the day-to-day operations of the Nomex manufacturing unit, ensuring all processes are running efficiently and effectively.
  2. Maintain a high level of quality standards for all products produced in the Nomex division.
  3. Develop and implement strategies to improve production processes and increase efficiency.
  4. Monitor and analyze production data to identify areas for improvement and cost-saving opportunities.
  5. Lead a team of production workers and provide guidance, support, and training to ensure a safe and productive work environment.
  6. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement new products and processes.
  7. Communicate with upper management to provide updates on production progress and any issues that may arise.
  8. Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and protocols.
  9. Create and maintain production schedules, ensuring on-time delivery of products to customers.
  10. Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback and coaching to team members.
  11. Troubleshoot any production issues and implement corrective actions.
  12. Foster a positive and collaborative work environment to promote teamwork and employee engagement.
  13. Continuously seek opportunities for process improvement and cost reduction.
  14. Stay updated on industry trends and advancements to ensure DuPont remains a global leader in innovative materials and solutions.

Job Qualifications

  • Experience In Operations Management: The Ideal Candidate For The Operations Unit Leader - Nomex Job At Dupont Should Have A Proven Track Record In Managing Operations Within A Manufacturing Or Industrial Setting. This Includes Experience In Overseeing Production Processes, Managing Resources And Personnel, And Ensuring Compliance With Safety And Quality Standards.

  • Knowledge Of Nomex Products: A Thorough Understanding Of Nomex Products, Their Properties And Applications Is Essential For This Role. The Operations Unit Leader Should Have A Strong Technical Background And Be Able To Provide Technical Support And Guidance To The Team.

  • Quality And Safety Focus: Dupont Places A High Emphasis On Quality And Safety In Its Operations.
