Job Description

The Zero Trust Architecture team is looking for an experienced Java Software Engineer with proven development skills in the area of platform, infrastructure as well as LDAP, Cloud and Kubernetes and any eCommerce experience as well. Design and build a distributed system with high security, high transaction rate and high availability. Collaborate with architects in defining the technical charter for eBay’s Zero Trust Architecture products. Work with partners to clarify requirements and deliver business solutions. Evangelize security first approach to teams within eBay to improve eBay’s overall security posture.

Job Qualifications

  • Hands-on experience in Java/Node.js, Spring, OOP, LDAP, OpenID Connect, SAML and scalable application development

  • Experience developing data-driven applications using an industry standard RDBMS and NoSQL.

  • Abundant knowledge on large scale distributed systems

  • Working in determining bottlenecks and improving system performance
