Job Description

The Training Specialist’s primary function is developing and delivering customer education and optimization opportunities for EBSCO products, services, and enhancements. This includes the creation and maintenance of customer-facing video content, as well as delivery of live, online training for customers. Proactively building territory plans for assigned territory/market with input from Management and Sales. Arranging, researching, customizing and conducting live (synchronous), online and onsite product training for customers Guiding learners across the lifecycle of their EBSCO products, including best practices and product expertise. Identifying desired customer learning objectives and outcomes, based on customer/stakeholder needs assessments Developing quality, branded educational videos and guided learning paths for our products. Recording and editing video and audio content. Engaging with internal and external stakeholders.

Job Qualifications
  • 2+ years of training delivery experience

  • Technical acumen - for development of in-depth technical product knowledge and video development

  • Experience working with and/or administering a Learning Management Systems (LMS)

  • Experience with Integrated Library Systems / Library Services Platform
