The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of benefits administration and be an excellent communicator. To succeed in this position, the Benefits Administrator must have excellent organizational skills, an ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, and a commitment to delivering outstanding customer service. Responsibilities:
- Maintain benefits records, ensuring accuracy of employee information in benefits systems
- Assist in the administration of all benefit plans, including health, dental, vision, life, disability, flexible spending accounts, and retirement plans
- Provide customer service to employees regarding their benefits, including answering questions and resolving issues
- Prepare and distribute materials regarding benefits plans and programs
- Create and manage reports related to benefits enrollment and usage
- Monitor and track benefit plan renewals and premiums
- Coordinate with third-party administrators as needed
- Assist with compliance of benefit plans with applicable laws and regulations
- Prepare and submit benefit claims
- Manage leave of absence programs, including FMLA and short-term disability
