Senior Internal Auditing Specialist

Responsibilities:

1. Establish and maintain effective internal audit standards and procedures.
2. Lead and manage complex internal audit projects.
3. Develop and execute audit plans and strategies.
4. Prepare and present audit reports to senior management and the Board of Directors.
5. Identify and assess areas of risk and potential fraud.
6. Monitor compliance with established internal control and audit processes.
7. Collect and analyze data to help identify and address risks.
8. Utilize data analytics to identify and assess risks.
9. Document and report control deficiencies and recommend corrective actions.
10. Provide consultation and guidance to senior management and other stakeholders on risk management and internal control matters.
11. Maintain a working knowledge of the industry and the organization’s business objectives.
12. Maintain professional relationships with staff, clients, and external auditors.
