They should also have an understanding of global sustainability trends and initiatives, and be able to demonstrate how to integrate sustainability into business operations.The successful candidate must also have excellent communication and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to work independently and in a team setting. They should have strong attention to detail and a passion for finding creative solutions to complex problems. The Sustainability Specialist should also have a deep commitment to the Eileen Fisher Inc mission and to promoting sustainability in our business practices.

Responsibilities:

1. Research and analyze global sustainability trends and initiatives and develop strategies for integrating sustainability into business operations.
2. Collaborate with a diverse team on sustainability initiatives, including developing and implementing policies and programs.
3. Monitor and assess the progress of projects and initiatives; provide regular updates to stakeholders.
4. Develop and implement methods and systems to track progress and measure success of sustainability programs.
5. Educate and train staff on sustainability initiatives and their impact.
6. Provide administrative support for sustainability projects, including preparing documents and reports.
7. Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
8. Identify and resolve potential sustainability issues.
9. Keep abreast of changes in the sustainability landscape and stay up to date on best practices.
10. Promote the Eileen Fisher Inc mission and ensure compliance with sustainability standards.
