Job Description

At Elevance Health, we are looking for a highly motivated Researcher - Health Economics and Outcomes Research to join our team. The ideal candidate will be a critical thinker, possess strong analytical capabilities, and demonstrate excellent communication and writing skills. In this role, you will be responsible for conducting economic and outcomes research to support the company's mission of providing actionable insights to healthcare organizations.The successful candidate will have a master's degree or higher in public health, health economics, biostatistics, epidemiology, or a related field, and will be well-versed in health economics and outcomes research principles and practices. You will also need to have strong knowledge of quantitative analysis methods and software packages, such as STATA, SAS, SPSS, and Excel.We are excited to welcome a talented individual to our team who can bring their enthusiasm and skills to help us continue to make a difference in the lives of people around the world.

Responsibilities:

  1. Conduct economic and outcomes research to support the company's mission.
  2. Develop research protocols and utilize quantitative analysis methods and software packages such as STATA, SAS, SPSS, and Excel to analyze data.
  3. Develop reports and presentations to communicate findings to stakeholders.
  4. Monitor trends in health economics and outcomes research and make recommendations to improve research practices.
  5. Collaborate with other researchers and healthcare organizations to ensure successful outcomes.
  6. Participate in conferences and workshops to stay up-to-date on the latest developments in health economics and outcomes research.
  7. Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders and external partners.
  8. Prepare and submit grant proposals to secure funding for research projects.
