- Monitor and evaluate safety data for all Eli Lilly pharmaceutical products, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
- Review and analyze adverse event reports and other safety data to identify potential risks and trends.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop risk management plans and strategies for product safety.
- Conduct literature searches and stay up-to-date on relevant pharmacovigilance regulations and guidelines.
- Prepare and submit periodic safety reports to regulatory agencies and internal stakeholders.
- Serve as a subject matter expert on drug safety in internal and external meetings and discussions.
- Communicate with healthcare professionals and patients regarding product safety and adverse event reporting.
- Participate in the development and implementation of processes and procedures to improve efficiency and effectiveness of drug safety operations.
- Train and mentor new drug safety team members on safety regulations, processes, and systems.
- Identify and escalate any potential safety issues to management in a timely manner.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the drug safety department.
- Maintain accurate and complete documentation of safety data and activities.
- Collaborate with global drug safety teams to ensure consistency and alignment of processes and procedures.
- Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and ethical standards.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Bachelor's Degree In A Related Field Such As Pharmacy, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Or Life Sciences.
Minimum Of 1-2 Years Of Experience In Drug Safety Or Pharmacovigilance Within The Pharmaceutical Industry.
Knowledge Of Fda And Global Pharmacovigilance Regulations And Guidelines.
Strong Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills With Attention To Detail.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills To Effectively Collaborate With Cross-Functional Teams And External Stakeholders.
