Job Description

Eli Lilly and Company is seeking a motivated Medical Sales Intern to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for a driven individual looking to develop their knowledge and skills within the medical sales industry. This intern will have the opportunity to work directly with sales professionals and gain meaningful experience in the world of medical sales.The ideal candidate should possess strong interpersonal skills, excellent communication abilities, and an enthusiasm for learning. In addition, we are looking for an individual with a strong academic background and an understanding of the medical sales industry. A basic understanding of the pharmaceutical sales process and business acumen are also a must.

Responsibilities:

  1. Assist in sales activities, including identifying and building relationships with potential customers.
  2. Learn the pharmaceutical sales process and apply it to sales activities.
  3. Develop a strong understanding of the medical sales industry and its dynamics.
  4. Research and analyze customer needs and develop creative solutions to meet those needs.
  5. Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor when interacting with customers.
  6. Assist in the preparation of sales presentations and other sales materials.
  7. Assist in the development and implementation of marketing strategies.
  8. Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and transactions.
  9. Monitor industry trends and customer feedback to identify areas of improvement.
  10. Provide administrative support to the sales team as needed.
