Cost Accountant

Prepare and input accounting journal entries, documentation and financial reporting data to support accurate & timely financial statements in accordance with US GAAP and corporate financial policies. Prepare account reconciliations and reviews, to ensure proper balance sheet valuation and reporting. Prepare and communicate monthly analysis of manufacturing variances and recommend actions for improvement. Partner with site operations to develop and review standards costs & product cost performance. Assist with asset audits and internal control reviews, including documentation, to ensure effective financial controls. Support the Annual Physical inventory count and periodic cycle counts. Assist in identifying and driving best in class process improvement strategies for North America sites. Support system updates and maintenance.
