
Project Coordinator - School of Medicine, Urban Health Initiative

- Develop and implement strategic plans for the Urban Health Initiative, in collaboration with the School of Medicine and community partners, to address health disparities in urban areas.
- Coordinate and manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring they are completed within budget and on time.
- Work closely with the team to develop and monitor project budgets, timelines, and deliverables.
- Serve as a liaison between the School of Medicine, community partners, and other stakeholders to foster strong relationships and collaboration.
- Conduct research and gather data to inform program development and evaluate the effectiveness of existing programs.
- Communicate program updates, successes, and challenges to relevant stakeholders through written reports and presentations.
- Develop and maintain project documentation, including project plans, progress reports, and meeting minutes.
- Identify and address potential project risks and challenges, and develop contingency plans as needed.
- Support the recruitment, training, and supervision of program staff and volunteers.
- Collaborate with the marketing and communications team to promote the Urban Health Initiative and its programs to the community.
- Stay updated on current trends and best practices in urban health and healthcare disparities to inform program development and implementation.
- Uphold ethical standards and confidentiality in all aspects of the job.
- Participate in meetings, conferences, and other events related to the Urban Health Initiative.
- Contribute to grant writing and fundraising efforts to secure funding for the program.
- Continuously evaluate and improve program strategies and operations to ensure the best possible outcomes for the community.
Bachelor's Degree In A Relevant Field Such As Public Health, Health Administration, Or Business Administration.
At Least 2-3 Years Of Experience In Project Coordination, Preferably In A Healthcare Or Academic Setting.
Knowledge Of Urban Health Issues And Experience Working With Diverse Populations.
Strong Organizational And Communication Skills, With The Ability To Manage Multiple Projects And Stakeholders Simultaneously.
Proficiency In Project Management Software And Microsoft Office Suite.
