Job Description

At Emory University, we are looking for a highly motivated, experienced, and creative Research Specialist to join our Cell Biology team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in research and a passion for expanding knowledge in the cell biology field.The Research Specialist will work closely with the team to design and execute experiments, help to generate data, and provide assistance with analyzing results. They will be responsible for contributing to the development of new research models and methodology, as well as helping to monitor laboratory safety protocols.The successful applicant must have a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, such as Biology, Biochemistry, Genetics, or Molecular Biology. Additionally, they must have experience working in a research laboratory, conducting experiments, and analyzing results. A working knowledge of cell culture techniques and laboratory equipment is also highly desired. The successful applicant should also have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
