- Facilitate a welcoming and positive experience for patients and their families as they enter our post-acute healthcare facility.
- Serve as the main point of contact for potential patients and their families, providing information about our services, programs, and amenities.
- Conduct initial screenings and assessments to determine the appropriateness of our facility for potential patients and coordinate with the clinical team to ensure a smooth admission process.
- Collaborate with physicians, case managers, and other healthcare professionals to receive patient referrals and provide timely updates on patient status.
- Maintain a thorough understanding of insurance coverage and reimbursement processes, and work closely with insurance companies to secure authorizations for admission.
- Coordinate with the clinical and administrative team to ensure all necessary paperwork and documentation is completed accurately and in a timely manner.
- Act as an advocate for our patients, ensuring their needs and preferences are communicated and addressed during the admissions process.
- Keep up-to-date records of patient admissions, discharges, and referrals, and provide regular reports to management on admission trends and outcomes.
- Participate in community outreach and marketing efforts to promote and increase awareness of our facility and services.
- Continuously strive to uphold our standards of excellence and enhance the overall patient experience through exceptional customer service and attention to detail.
Knowledge Of Healthcare Regulations And Insurance Processes.
Bachelor's Degree In Marketing, Business Administration, Or A Related Field.
Minimum Of 2 Years Experience In Admissions Or Marketing In A Healthcare Setting.
Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills To Effectively Educate And Engage Potential Patients, Families, And Referral Sources.
