1. Maintain a high standard of cleanliness and sanitation throughout the facility, including patient rooms, common areas, and administrative offices.
2. Ensure that all floor surfaces are properly cleaned and maintained, including vacuuming, mopping, and spot cleaning as needed.
3. Utilize appropriate cleaning agents and equipment to effectively remove stains, spills, and other debris from floors and surfaces.
4. Adhere to all safety and infection control protocols to prevent the spread of illnesses and maintain a safe environment for patients and staff.
5. Collaborate with other team members to coordinate cleaning schedules and prioritize tasks in accordance with patient needs and facility standards.
6. Monitor and report any maintenance or repair needs related to flooring and other surfaces to the appropriate department.
7. Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, and notify supervisor when supplies need to be replenished.
8. Assist with moving furniture and equipment as needed for deep cleaning and facility maintenance.
9. Provide exceptional customer service to patients, families, and staff by responding promptly and courteously to any cleaning or maintenance requests.
10. Attend and participate in all required training and educational opportunities to stay updated on best practices and safety protocols.
