- Provide top-quality rehabilitation services to patients in accordance with Encompass Health's mission and values.
- Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement effective treatment plans for patients.
- Conduct thorough assessments to determine patients' individual needs and goals.
- Utilize evidence-based techniques and modalities to help patients improve their functional abilities and achieve their goals.
- Educate patients and their families on the importance of occupational therapy and how it can improve their quality of life.
- Monitor and document patients' progress and make necessary adjustments to treatment plans as needed.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in compliance with healthcare regulations and Encompass Health's policies.
- Communicate effectively with patients, their families, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate care and ensure a positive patient experience.
- Stay informed on the latest developments and advancements in occupational therapy to continuously improve patient care.
- Adhere to all state and federal laws and regulations, as well as Encompass Health's policies and procedures.
- Maintain a valid state license and fulfill all continuing education requirements.
- Demonstrate a strong commitment to ethical and professional standards.
- Foster a positive and supportive work environment.
- Participate in team meetings and training sessions to enhance skills and knowledge.

Bachelor's Or Master's Degree In Occupational Therapy From An Accredited Institution
Current State License Or Certification In Occupational Therapy
Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience In A Clinical Setting, Preferably In A Rehabilitation Or Acute Care Setting
Strong Understanding Of Evidence-Based Practice And Ability To Implement It In Patient Care
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Work Collaboratively With A Multidisciplinary Team And Effectively Communicate With Patients And Their Families.
