4. Collaborate with the occupational therapist and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for patients.
5. Educate patients and their families on therapy techniques and exercises to be continued at home.
6. Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient progress and treatment.
7. Adhere to all legal and ethical standards and follow company policies and procedures.
8. Maintain a safe and clean work environment and follow infection control protocols.
9. Participate in ongoing training and educational opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.
10. Demonstrate empathy and compassion towards patients and their families.
11. Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the healthcare team.
12. Provide support and assistance to patients in daily living activities.
13. Assist with the maintenance and organization of therapy equipment and supplies.
14. Act as an advocate for patients and promote their rights and independence.
15. Maintain confidentiality of patient information.
16. Keep up-to-date with the latest developments and advancements in occupational therapy.
17. Perform other related duties as assigned by the occupational therapist or supervisor.
