- Manage and oversee the organization's purchasing processes, including identifying needed goods and services, obtaining quotes and bids, and negotiating contracts.
- Monitor inventory levels and ensure timely and cost-effective procurement of necessary supplies and equipment.
- Collaborate with various departments to understand their procurement needs and develop strategies to meet those needs.
- Maintain accurate records of purchases, contracts, and vendor information.
- Utilize procurement software and systems to track and manage orders, budgets, and inventory.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors and negotiate favorable terms and pricing.
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in procurement to continuously improve processes and procedures.
- Ensure compliance with organizational policies and procedures, as well as applicable laws and regulations.
- Train and educate team members on procurement processes and procedures.
- Work closely with the finance department to accurately track and report on purchasing activities and expenses.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and implement strategies to reduce overall procurement costs.
- Communicate effectively with team members and management to ensure timely and efficient procurement processes.
- Handle any issues or disputes with vendors in a timely and professional manner.
- Collaborate with other departments to streamline processes and improve overall organizational efficiency.
- Participate in cross-functional teams and contribute to company-wide initiatives and projects as needed.
Excellent Communication And Negotiation Skills.
Bachelor's Degree In Business, Supply Chain Management, Or A Related Field.
Minimum Of 2-3 Years Experience In Purchasing Or Procurement, Preferably In A Healthcare Setting.
Strong Knowledge Of Inventory Management And Supply Chain Processes.
Proficiency In Using Purchasing Software And Microsoft Office Applications.
