- Assist in providing high-quality rehabilitative care to patients at Encompass Health.
- Provide compassionate and skilled nursing care to patients under the supervision of a registered nurse.
- Utilize a strong understanding of nursing practices to ensure the safety and well-being of patients.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans for patients.
- Monitor and report changes in patients' conditions to the registered nurse.
- Assist in the implementation of therapeutic treatments and exercises prescribed by the rehabilitation team.
- Administer medications and treatments as directed by the registered nurse.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation.
- Create a welcoming and comforting environment for patients and their families.
- Provide emotional support and encouragement to patients during their recovery process.
- Follow all infection control and safety protocols to maintain a clean and safe environment for patients.
- Attend and actively participate in team meetings and training sessions.
- Keep up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in rehabilitation nursing.
- Uphold Encompass Health's mission and values in all interactions with patients, families, and colleagues.
Completion Of A Certified Nursing Assistant (Cna) Program Or Equivalent Training.
Previous Experience Working In A Healthcare Or Rehabilitation Setting.
Current Cpr And First Aid Certification.
Ability To Work As Part Of A Multidisciplinary Team And Communicate Effectively With Patients, Families, And Healthcare Professionals.
Understanding Of Basic Medical Terminology And Electronic Health Record Systems.
