IT Communication Specialist
The successful candidate will have experience in creating communication strategies and plans, writing copy for emails and other customer touchpoints, managing project timelines and driving discussions with internal customers. This person will develop positive working relationships with employees and stakeholders, and act as a key liaison between internal customers and project teams. In this role, you will develop proactive employee communications to support technical initiatives, with a strong emphasis on delivering an excellent employee experience. You will collaborate with leadership to craft, organize and promote messages to ensure success, ensuring all collateral and narrative accurately conveys company and IT value to various audiences. Finally, you will track and measure communications activities to assess and improve performance, develop and drive internal communications as needed, and perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
At least 5 years of experience in communications, creative marketing, marketing agency and/or project management required
At least 5 years of business writing experience required
Strategic perspective related to communication as well as critical thinking skills and approach
Ability and desire to advocate for internal users of varying technologies through a “consumer first” approach
