- Oversee and manage the surface mount assembly processes to ensure high-quality production of telecommunications products.
- Lead a team of surface mount assembly technicians and operators, providing direction, guidance, and support.
- Monitor and track production metrics, including output, quality, and efficiency, and make necessary adjustments to improve performance.
- Develop and implement standard operating procedures to ensure consistent and efficient assembly processes.
- Collaborate with other departments, such as engineering and supply chain, to ensure timely and accurate delivery of materials and components for assembly.
- Conduct regular inspections of equipment and facilities to identify and address any maintenance or safety issues.
- Train new employees on surface mount assembly processes and provide ongoing training for existing team members.
- Maintain inventory levels of surface mount assembly materials and equipment, and place orders as needed.
- Communicate with upper management to provide regular updates on production status and identify any potential issues.
- Continuously seek out ways to improve and optimize the surface mount assembly processes to increase productivity and efficiency.
Extensive Knowledge And Experience In Surface Mount Technology (Smt) Assembly Processes, Equipment, And Materials.
Strong Leadership Skills, Including The Ability To Manage A Team And Delegate Tasks Effectively.
Proven Track Record Of Managing And Optimizing Production Processes To Meet Quality, Cost, And Delivery Targets.
Experience In Implementing And Maintaining Quality Control Measures, Such As Ipc-A-610 Standards And Lean Manufacturing Principles.
Excellent Communication And Problem-Solving Skills, With The Ability To Coordinate And Collaborate With Cross-Functional Teams To Drive Continuous Improvement.
