We are looking for a Seller Risk Agent to prevent risk to Etsy by monitoring seller behavior at key points in their account lifecycle to prevent risks to the Etsy brand. Review targeted queries to surface trends in malicious, problematic and/or violating account behavior. Review automated controls and admin-generated flags. Field questions from other internal teams in Slack, providing mentorship about risky accounts and recommendations for how to move forward. Act as a resource, collaborating across Trust and Safety to keep the marketplace free of malicious and fraudulent accounts. Attend and participate in regular team meetings across time zones and locations.
2+ years of Trust & Safety experience or similar enforcement and/or operational team
Experience in ecommerce or another internet-based industry, especially online security or seller fraud prevention
Bonus points if you have experience using Zendesk, Slack, and Google Suite.
