
Operations Assistant Manager
The Operations Assistant Manager at Family Dollar is a key role in providing a positive customer experience and helping to ensure that our stores are run in an effective and efficient manner. This position requires a customer-centric attitude, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to think strategically. We are looking for an individual who is passionate about leading and inspiring others to deliver exceptional results.To be successful in this role, you should have prior retail and/or customer service experience, excellent organizational skills, and a strong understanding of store operations. You should also be knowledgeable in inventory management, loss prevention, and safety protocols. Additionally, you should have excellent communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor and maintain store operations, ensuring that all procedures are being followed and customer service standards are met.
- Assist store manager with scheduling, inventory management, and customer service issues.
- Lead, motivate, and inspire store staff to deliver excellent customer service and results.
- Monitor loss prevention and safety protocols in the store.
- Develop and implement strategic plans for improvement of store operations and customer service.
- Ensure all store policies and procedures are being adhered to.
- Analyze store performance and recommend areas for improvement.
- Assist with recruitment and training of new employees.
- Manage store finances and budgeting.
- Liaise with suppliers and vendors.
