Sales Floor Associate

Family Dollar is looking for a motivated and customer-oriented Sales Floor Associate to join our team! As a Sales Floor Associate, you will be responsible for providing outstanding customer service while assisting customers with their shopping needs. To be successful in this role, you must possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills, as well as a strong work ethic. If you are passionate about providing exemplary customer service and have a drive to succeed, then we want to hear from you! Qualifications: • High school diploma or equivalent• Previous retail experience preferred• Ability to stand/walk for extended periods of time• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds• Availability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

Responsibilities: • Greet and assist customers in finding products they need • Respond to customer inquiries and complaints in a professional manner • Operate cash registers and maintain accurate transactions • Maintain store shelves and display areas to ensure merchandise is stocked and presented in an attractive manner • Handle returns and exchanges in accordance with company policies • Assist with store opening and closing duties as needed • Receive and restock merchandise as needed • Monitor store activity and alert management of any suspicious behavior • Follow all safety procedures and adhere to company policies • Other duties as assigned
