Sales Floor Associate

Family Dollar is looking for an enthusiastic and customer-service oriented Sales Floor Associate to join our team! We are a family-oriented retailer dedicated to providing excellent service and quality products to our customers. The ideal candidate for this position will have a passion for helping others and a strong aptitude for sales.The Sales Floor Associate will be responsible for providing a positive shopping experience for customers and achieving sales goals. This individual must be reliable, organized, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.Required Qualifications:• Previous customer service or retail experience• Ability to work both independently and within a team• Ability to move and lift up to 25 lbs.• Must be able to stand for long periods of time• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills• Ability to multitask and take initiative• Basic math skills• High school diploma or equivalent

Responsibilities:

• Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner • Provide superior customer service by responding to customer inquiries and complaints • Assist customers with locating, selecting, and purchasing items • Maintain a neat and organized sales floor, stocking and displaying merchandise • Ensure that shelves are adequately stocked and well-maintained • Assist with unloading and organizing shipments • Accurately ring up customers using the point-of-sale system • Process returns and exchanges as needed • Answer customer questions regarding product features and availability • Follow all safety and security regulations • Meet individual and team sales goals • Track inventory levels and order supplies as needed • Comply with all company policies and procedures
