  1. Ensure timely and efficient delivery of packages to customers within designated city routes.
  2. Safely operate and maintain delivery vehicles in accordance with company policies and procedures.
  3. Provide exceptional customer service by greeting and interacting with customers in a professional and friendly manner.
  4. Load and unload packages from delivery vehicles while adhering to safety protocols.
  5. Maintain accurate and organized delivery logs and records.
  6. Communicate any delivery delays or issues to the appropriate parties in a timely manner.
  7. Follow all traffic laws and regulations while operating company vehicles.
  8. Adhere to company standards for package handling and security to ensure the safe and timely delivery of all packages.
  9. Collaborate with team members and management to continuously improve delivery processes and customer satisfaction.
  10. Keep up-to-date with all company policies and procedures related to driving, safety, and package handling.
  11. Maintain a clean and organized delivery vehicle at all times.
  12. Attend training and development opportunities to enhance driving skills and knowledge.
  13. Follow all company protocols for reporting vehicle maintenance issues and accidents.
  14. Meet all delivery and performance targets set by management.
  15. Represent the company in a professional and positive manner at all times.

Job Qualifications

  • Valid Commercial Driver's License (Cdl) With Appropriate Endorsements: A City Driver At Fedex Must Have A Valid Cdl With The Necessary Endorsements For Operating A Commercial Vehicle. This Includes A Class A Or B Cdl, As Well As Endorsements For Air Brakes, Hazardous Materials, And Tank Vehicles.

  • Clean Driving Record: As A City Driver, You Will Be Responsible For The Safe And Timely Delivery Of Packages To Various Locations. Therefore, It Is Essential To Have A Clean Driving Record With No Major Violations Or Accidents.
