  1. Perform regular maintenance and updates on computer systems and networks to ensure optimal functionality.
  2. Troubleshoot and resolve any hardware, software, or network issues in a timely and efficient manner.
  3. Install, configure, and upgrade computer hardware and software as needed.
  4. Monitor and maintain computer inventory and ensure all equipment is properly accounted for.
  5. Collaborate with other IT team members to implement new technologies and improve existing systems.
  6. Create and maintain documentation of all system configurations, processes, and procedures.
  7. Train and assist employees on proper use of computer systems and software.
  8. Keep up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in technology to make recommendations for system improvements.
  9. Adhere to company policies and procedures regarding security and data protection.
  10. Communicate effectively with team members and other departments to provide technical support and resolve issues.
  11. Follow company guidelines for safe handling and disposal of computer equipment.
  12. Participate in on-call rotation for after-hours support as needed.
  13. Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
  14. Continuously evaluate and make recommendations for improving system performance and efficiency.
  15. Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and standards related to computer systems and networks.

Job Qualifications
  • Associate's Degree In Computer Science Or Related Field: A Formal Education In Computer Science Provides A Strong Foundation In Technical Skills And Knowledge Necessary For A Computer Technician Role At Fedex.

  • Technical Certification(S): Certifications Such As Comptia A+ Or Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert (Mcse) Demonstrate A High Level Of Proficiency In Specific Technical Areas And Can Set A Candidate Apart From Other Applicants.

  • Hands-On Experience With Computer Hardware And Software: Previous Experience Troubleshooting And Repairing Computer Hardware And Software Issues Is Essential For A Computer Technician Role At Fedex.

  • Knowledge Of Fedex's Computer Systems And Software: Familiarity With Fedex's Specific Computer Systems And Software, Such As Tracking And Logistics Software, Is Highly Desirable And Can Help A Technician Quickly Adapt To The Company's Technology Environment.
