  1. Troubleshooting and resolving computer hardware and software issues for both desktop and laptop computers.
  2. Conducting regular maintenance and updates on computer systems, including operating systems and software applications.
  3. Installing and configuring new hardware and software as needed.
  4. Responding to and resolving technical support requests from employees in a timely and efficient manner.
  5. Communicating effectively with end-users to understand and diagnose computer problems.
  6. Providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a positive user experience.
  7. Maintaining accurate records of all computer repairs and services performed.
  8. Collaborating with other IT team members to identify and implement solutions for recurring technical issues.
  9. Adhering to company policies and procedures regarding computer usage and security.
  10. Staying current with industry trends and advancements in technology to continuously improve computer systems and processes.
  11. Training and educating employees on how to use computer systems and software effectively.
  12. Troubleshooting network connectivity and printer issues.
  13. Maintaining an inventory of computer equipment and ensuring all equipment is properly maintained and accounted for.
  14. Ensuring compliance with company and industry regulations regarding data security and privacy.
  15. Providing on-call support for after-hours and weekend maintenance and repairs as needed.

Job Qualifications
  • Technical Knowledge And Expertise: A Computer Technician At Fedex Should Have A Strong Understanding Of Computer Hardware, Software, And Networking Systems. They Should Also Be Familiar With Troubleshooting Techniques And Be Able To Quickly Diagnose And Resolve Technical Issues.

  • Certification And Education: While A Formal Degree May Not Be Required For This Position, Having A Relevant Certification, Such As Comptia A+ Or Microsoft Certified Professional (Mcp), Can Demonstrate A Candidate's Proficiency In Computer Technology.
