  1. Research and maintain knowledge of international customs regulations and procedures.
  2. Ensure compliance with all customs laws and regulations for international shipments.
  3. Facilitate the smooth movement of goods through customs by preparing and submitting necessary documentation.
  4. Communicate with customers and internal teams to gather necessary information for customs clearance.
  5. Collaborate with customs brokers and government agencies to resolve any issues or delays in customs clearance.
  6. Monitor and track shipments to ensure timely delivery and address any delays or issues that may arise.
  7. Keep accurate records and documentation of all customs transactions and provide reports as needed.
  8. Provide excellent customer service by addressing any inquiries or concerns regarding customs clearance.
  9. Identify areas for process improvements and suggest solutions to streamline customs clearance procedures.
  10. Stay updated on changes in customs regulations and procedures to ensure compliance and efficiency.
  11. Train and mentor new Customs Trade Agents to ensure their success in the role.
  12. Maintain confidentiality and integrity in handling sensitive customs information.
  13. Collaborate with other teams within the company to ensure a smooth and efficient shipping process.
  14. Handle any special requests or requirements from customers related to customs clearance.
  15. Act as a representative of FedEx and uphold the company's reputation in the global shipping industry.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In International Trade, Supply Chain Management, Or Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 2 Years Experience In Customs Brokerage Or Import/Export Operations.

  • Strong Understanding Of Customs Regulations And Procedures, Including Knowledge Of Harmonized Tariff Schedule (Hts) Codes.

  • Proficiency In Using Customs Software And Other Relevant Technology.

  • Excellent Communication And Customer Service Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Interact With Government Agencies And Clients.
