  1. Operate forklifts safely and efficiently to move packages and materials within the warehouse.
  2. Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to prevent accidents and injuries.
  3. Perform routine maintenance and safety checks on forklift equipment.
  4. Load and unload packages and materials onto trucks and other vehicles.
  5. Organize and arrange packages and materials in designated areas for storage or transportation.
  6. Maintain accurate records of inventory and movement of packages and materials.
  7. Collaborate with other team members to ensure timely and accurate completion of tasks.
  8. Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members regarding any issues or concerns.
  9. Follow company policies and procedures to maintain a high level of productivity and quality.
  10. Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote a safe and efficient working environment.
  11. Continuously monitor and report any equipment malfunctions or maintenance needs.
  12. Meet productivity goals and standards set by the company.
  13. Uphold FedEx's reputation and commitment to excellent customer service.
  14. Act as a brand ambassador for FedEx by demonstrating professionalism and positive attitude.

Job Qualifications

  • Valid Forklift Operator Certification: The Candidate Should Possess A Valid Forklift Operator Certification From A Recognized Institution Or Training Program.

  • Prior Experience: A Minimum Of 1-2 Years Of Experience Operating A Forklift In A Warehouse Or Distribution Center Is Preferred.

  • Knowledge Of Safety Procedures: The Candidate Must Have A Thorough Understanding Of Forklift Safety Procedures And Be Able To Adhere To Them At All Times To Prevent Accidents And Injuries.

  • Physical Ability: This Job Requires Physical Strength And Stamina, As Well As The Ability To Operate Heavy Machinery For Prolonged Periods Of Time. Candidates Must Be Able To Lift And Move Heavy Objects And Have Good Hand-Eye Coordination.

  • Attention To Detail: Forklift Operators At Fedex Are Responsible For Handling Large Quantities Of Packages And Materials, So It Is Important For Candidates To Have Strong Attention To Detail To Ensure Accurate And Efficient Handling And Storage Of Items.
