- Load and unload packages and freight from trucks in a timely and efficient manner.
- Sort and scan packages and freight accurately to ensure proper delivery.
- Maintain a safe and organized work environment by following all safety protocols and procedures.
- Ensure all shipments are handled with care to prevent damage or loss.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing any concerns or issues from customers regarding their shipments.
- Work collaboratively with team members to meet daily shipment goals and deadlines.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of all packages and freight handled.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures at all times.
- Operate equipment, such as forklifts and pallet jacks, in a safe and efficient manner.
- Assist with inventory management and stock control as needed.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members to ensure a smooth and efficient workflow.
- Follow all company guidelines and regulations regarding the handling of hazardous materials.
- Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors.
Physical Strength And Stamina: The Job Of A Freight Handler At Fedex Requires The Ability To Lift Heavy Packages And Operate Equipment Such As Forklifts And Pallet Jacks. Therefore, Candidates Must Have Good Physical Strength And Stamina To Perform The Job Efficiently.
