- Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify maintenance needs and ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
- Coordinate with other departments and external vendors to schedule repairs and maintenance activities with minimal impact on operations.
- Oversee the maintenance budget and ensure cost-effective solutions are implemented.
- Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers, negotiating contracts and obtaining competitive pricing for maintenance supplies and services.
- Monitor and analyze maintenance performance data to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
- Develop and implement preventative maintenance plans to minimize downtime and extend the lifespan of equipment.
- Stay up-to-date with industry advancements and technological innovations to improve maintenance processes and procedures.
- Communicate effectively with management and other departments to provide updates on maintenance activities and address any concerns or issues.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as local, state, and federal regulations.
- Foster a positive and collaborative work environment, promoting teamwork and accountability among maintenance staff.
- Handle any escalated maintenance issues or emergencies in a timely and efficient manner.
- Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback and coaching to team members to support their professional development.
- Continuously seek opportunities to streamline maintenance processes, reduce costs, and improve overall efficiency.
Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Maintenance Management, Preferably In A Logistics Or Transportation Industry.
Bachelor's Degree In A Relevant Field Such As Engineering, Facilities Management, Or Business Administration.
Strong Leadership And Team Management Skills, With The Ability To Oversee And Coordinate A Team Of Maintenance Technicians.
Excellent Problem-Solving And Decision-Making Abilities, With A Strong Understanding Of Maintenance Processes And Procedures.
Experience With Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (Cmms) And Knowledge Of Industry-Specific Maintenance Software.
