- Oversee the maintenance and repair of all fleet vehicles, including trucks, vans, and other transportation vehicles.
- Develop and implement a comprehensive maintenance program to ensure all vehicles are in top condition.
- Supervise a team of mechanics, providing guidance, training, and support as needed.
- Conduct regular inspections of vehicles to identify any maintenance or repair needs.
- Order and maintain inventory of necessary parts and equipment for maintenance and repairs.
- Coordinate with other departments and external vendors to ensure timely and efficient repairs.
- Monitor and track maintenance and repair costs to ensure budget compliance.
- Ensure all safety protocols and procedures are followed by the maintenance team.
- Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
- Keep up-to-date with industry advancements and techniques to improve fleet maintenance processes.
- Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repairs performed on fleet vehicles.
- Communicate with upper management regarding any significant maintenance issues or concerns.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including those related to safety and environmental regulations.
- Provide exceptional customer service to internal stakeholders and external customers.
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by management.
Experience In Fleet Maintenance: A Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Managing And Maintaining A Fleet Of Vehicles, Preferably In A Fast-Paced Environment.
Knowledge Of Vehicle Repair And Maintenance: Strong Knowledge Of Vehicle Repair And Maintenance Techniques, Including But Not Limited To Engines, Transmissions, Brakes, And Electrical Systems.
Leadership And Team Management Skills: Proven Ability To Lead And Manage A Team Of Technicians, Including Scheduling, Performance Management, And Training.
Strong Communication And Problem-Solving Skills: Effective Communication Skills To Collaborate With Other Departments, As Well As The Ability To Troubleshoot And Solve Complex Problems In A Timely Manner.
Flexibility And Adaptability: Ability To Work In A Constantly Changing Environment And Adapt To New Processes And Procedures As Needed. Willingness To Work Flexible Hours, Including Nights, Weekends, And Holidays, As Required In A 24/7 Operation.
