
Emergency Management Specialist (Recovery)
We are looking for an experienced and motivated individual to join the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) as an Emergency Management Specialist (Recovery). This position plays an integral role in helping communities prepare for, respond to, and recover from disasters. The successful candidate will have a passion for helping others and a strong commitment to the FEMA mission.The Emergency Management Specialist (Recovery) will be responsible for providing technical assistance and support in the areas of recovery planning, grant program administration, and program monitoring. This role requires an individual with strong organizational and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to build relationships with partners in the field. The ideal candidate will also have excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.The successful candidate must have at least four years of professional experience in emergency management, disaster recovery, or a related field, as well as a Bachelor’s degree in Emergency Management, Public Administration, or a related field. A Master’s degree in Emergency Management, Public Administration, or a related field is preferred.
