Job Description

We’re looking for an experienced and passionate Environmental Protection Specialist to join our FEMA team. You’ll be responsible for developing and managing environmental protection programs, identifying risks and developing strategies to reduce or eliminate those risks, and providing technical guidance on environmental protection matters. This is an essential role and requires a highly organized individual with strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.We’re looking for someone with a bachelor’s degree in environmental science, engineering, or a related field, as well as 5-7 years of experience in environmental protection, or a related field. You should also have strong knowledge and understanding of federal, state and local environmental laws, regulations, and policies.
