- Serve as the primary point of contact for all HR-related inquiries and concerns from employees and management.
- Manage the full employee lifecycle, including onboarding, employee relations, performance management, and offboarding processes.
- Ensure compliance with all federal and agency-specific HR policies and procedures.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records and files.
- Coordinate with hiring managers to fill open positions and conduct interviews as needed.
- Collaborate with the HR team to develop and implement employee engagement and retention strategies.
- Provide guidance and support to employees on HR-related matters, including benefits, compensation, and career development.
- Conduct training sessions for employees and managers on HR policies, procedures, and best practices.
- Assist with the development and maintenance of HR metrics and reports.
- Participate in special projects and initiatives related to HR and employee development.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to continuously improve HR operations and processes.
- Foster a positive and inclusive work environment by promoting diversity and equity initiatives.
- Collaborate with other departments and stakeholders to ensure a seamless and efficient flow of HR operations.
- Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
- Continuously seek opportunities to improve and streamline HR processes to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills
Bachelor's Degree In Human Resources Or A Related Field
Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Experience In Hr, Preferably In A Government Or Emergency Management Setting
Strong Knowledge Of Federal And State Labor Laws And Regulations
Experience In Managing And Resolving Employee Relations Issues.
