As an HR Liaison at FEMA, you will play a vital role in supporting our employees and ensuring that our human resources operations run smoothly.   1. Serve as the primary point of contact for all HR-related inquiries and concerns from employees and management.
  2. Manage the full employee lifecycle, including onboarding, employee relations, performance management, and offboarding processes.
  3. Ensure compliance with all federal and agency-specific HR policies and procedures.
  4. Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records and files.
  5. Coordinate with hiring managers to fill open positions and conduct interviews as needed.
  6. Collaborate with the HR team to develop and implement employee engagement and retention strategies.
  7. Provide guidance and support to employees on HR-related matters, including benefits, compensation, and career development.
  8. Conduct training sessions for employees and managers on HR policies, procedures, and best practices.
  9. Assist with the development and maintenance of HR metrics and reports.
  10. Participate in special projects and initiatives related to HR and employee development.
  11. Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to continuously improve HR operations and processes.
  12. Foster a positive and inclusive work environment by promoting diversity and equity initiatives.
  13. Collaborate with other departments and stakeholders to ensure a seamless and efficient flow of HR operations.
  14. Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
  15. Continuously seek opportunities to improve and streamline HR processes to increase efficiency and effectiveness.

Job Qualifications
  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills

  • Bachelor's Degree In Human Resources Or A Related Field

  • Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Experience In Hr, Preferably In A Government Or Emergency Management Setting

  • Strong Knowledge Of Federal And State Labor Laws And Regulations

  • Experience In Managing And Resolving Employee Relations Issues.
